The Centre for AI Fundamentals is the place to come to do machine learning in Manchester. We also bring together our AI expertise and the latest research opportunities across the University of Manchester and our collaborators.
Manchester is currently heavily investing in AI and we have already recruited a number of new experts to the Centre.
At the Centre for AI Fundamentals we have two core goals:
- To create and develop cutting-edge machine learning techniques.
- To work with experts in a range of fields: using AI to solve real-world problems.
We're bringing together renowned academic expertise in AI with the latest research taking place across our growing institutes, including the Institute for Data Science and AI (IDSAI), The Christabel Pankhurst Institute for health technology research and innovation, and our partnerships with the Alan Turing Institute and the European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ELLIS).
