PhD Studentships

We currently have a large number of PhD students working on machine learning and the fundamentals of AI. We have several existing projects that you may be interested in, but we are also interested to hear from candidates with their own topics to propose. The University of Manchester has funding opportunities for candidates which are allocated on a competitive basis, and we also welcome candidates with external funding to cover the costs of their PhD.
